There is a magic to Jefferson that has pulsed through its history and lives
on even in this moment. It's a magic of both dark and light, war and
tolerance, controversy and acceptance. Here on the outer edge of
the Blue Ridge, we've been learning from that magic to treasure one
another's differences,
and to build a true community together. We're exploring ideas in
sustainability, economic development, education,
agriculture and much more. We'd like to invite you to spend a little time
enjoying this special community at the Jefferson Biz Market.
The Biz Market is an experiment in economic development.

Local entrepreneurs and artisans
present their wares and services in an open market. You can browse the tables, talk
with the business owners and artists, farmers and craftspeople, and even do
some shopping. Every experience is different -

some days the Biz Market offers locally roasted coffees, pastries, pies and
jams. Other times we might have quilts, jewelry, photographs, glassware or soaps. And
because we welcome inventors and start ups of all kinds, absolutely anything
is possible.
But every Market gives you a few moments inside our community. And that is
the experience you'll love taking back home.
